If you've ever used our Everywhere Oil and wondered how something oil-based can feel like it disappears into your skin instead of sitting on top, strawberry seed oil is a big part of the answer.
What's actually in it
Strawberry seed oil is classified as a "dry oil," meaning it absorbs fast and doesn't leave a slick or greasy residue behind. It's rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, essential fats your skin needs but doesn't produce much of on its own.
What it does for your skin
The omega fatty acids go to work hydrating skin and reinforcing the protective barrier, similar to avocado seed oil, but strawberry seed oil does it in a lighter, faster-absorbing way. It's also known for refining texture and calming redness, which makes it a good fit for skin that's reactive or prone to looking blotchy.
This is the ingredient responsible for the "velvet finish" people notice with the Everywhere Oil. It's never greasy, never sticky, and it evens things out rather than adding shine.
Who it's best for
If your skin is combination, sensitive, or just prone to feeling overloaded by heavier oils, strawberry seed oil is doing a lot of the balancing. It's also a good pick if redness or uneven texture is more of a concern for you than deep dryness.
Why it's paired with heavier oils
On its own, strawberry seed oil is light enough that it wouldn't fully address more serious dryness. That's why it's blended with avocado seed oil in our formula: strawberry seed oil handles the fast absorption and texture refinement, avocado seed oil handles the deeper barrier repair, and together they cover more skin types than either would alone.
